After a days worth of back and forth, talks with the PM, Jafar agreed to one option sealing up Yer Bouti city to Prevent Ebola from entering. His Blue Nationalist government here in YBC cannot speak for the other 5 Provinces that make up the rest of Yer Bouti as there is a Civil War going on, According to his Defence Minister Iago, one province, might be loyal to the former Sheik Yer Bouti, who fled to Kebab months ago, the others Under the sway of the Terror groups AL-Kabab, and Brown Trousers. but if New Canadian Red Crosses Humanitarian Aid fleet shows up, in Yer Bouti City to deliver food and medical care needed to fight Ebola, it could hopfully sway the population to abandon the two Terror groups, and rejoin Yer Bouti City again.

With that New Canadian Red Cross has given the orders by the NC delegate to send the aid fleet to Yer Bouti City to deliver aid to the area.

There’s been a major setback in the KSS III submarine selection for the RCN as it was discovered that the cables onboard can degrade rapidly overtime, causing severe electrical issues that can cripple the Sub during a mission. With this in mind the RCN and the DPA has officially rejected the KSS III sub from the program. the Type 212CD sub is still being considered, Though its Hydrogen Fuel Cell based engine could cause Safety and logistical issues down the road.

The Type 212CD has been accepted into service with the RCN though its fuel cell engine will be removed. the 12 submarines will be built by TKMS.

The delegation from New Canada and the POP has landed in Yer Bouti City, to meet with its current leader, Prime Minister Jafar*, to give him and his staff a report on the Ebola situation in West Africa. And to discuss options on how to best prevent it from reaching his country.
(*Note: this character is from a faction in a Yer Bouti Civil War scenario i started working on in the GHQ forum before i got locked out.)

rats its a full hull and not a waterline model. i’ll just have to wait and see if someone did a KSS III in 1/2400. if not I’ll have to find a alternative.

I won’t be deploying anything to the DRC due to the very high risk of getting infected by Ebola.

This virus however will put the Imagi-nation of Yer Bouti at grave risk since its on the West African coast. I’ll have to contact with the current government of Yer Bouti, to see what could be done to prevent this horrible virus from reaching that nation.

I would advice aginest sending aid to the DRC as you could unintentionally bring the virus to your home nations, plus i have receive disturbing words that it has already spread to the nearby nation of Uganda. the infected areas must be isolated and quarantined to prevent its spread.

After reviewing the Ebola situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo. NC Red Cross has made their decision to not deploy their Aid fleet, due to fears of unintentionally brining the deadly virus to our home nation. the DRC should be placed under tight quarantine to control this outbreak.

The New Canadian Red Cross has finally got a SHAM like humanitarian Aid fleet put to together after nearly 10 years of Bureaucratic process. It will consist of the following.

A modified RoRo Car carrying transport to handle the delivery of aid at a functioning port.
A former oil tanker converted into a Hospital ship to handle all sorts of care. It will feature several helipads for helicopters to land on. And small boats launched on Davits to help ferry injured people or supplies to and from the ship.
and a small liner to be home to the bureaucrats who run the red cross that will handle the organizing, payments, and logistics during a humanitarian Aid missions. and security to make sure the red cross personal is safe.

Let’s worry about more conventional issues with the Eurasian Empire, then that. I doubt the EE has such capability.
