ParticipantTwo of the Incomplete Type 26 hulls. Hull #15 (Ex HMCS Peace River), and Hull #11 (Ex HMCS North Saskatchewan). Has been bought by a BC Dive Tourism charter, they will be Towed from their reserve dock in CFB Kitimat To be sunk as Artificial reefs and Dive tourist site off the coast of Hartley Bay. The sinking is expected to be done this afternoon or this evening.
Meanwhile the RCN has two plans in place. 1. an indefinite Refit program to keep the Halifax and Iroquois class Destroyers operational for the foreseeable future.
2. A proposed expansion of the Type 21 Amazon frigate program to include 15 more ships with the goal to Alleviate their limited missile capability with more ships in a squadron.-

ParticipantNew Canada is still ironing out a plan to develop a Humanitarian Aid fleet of their own. Though it will be operated by the NC Red Cross. currently its in the ship selecting phase to find civilian vessels suitable for this kind of operation.

ParticipantNot all of them the ones that got converted are still in use, while they last. Only the incomplete Hulls that are left over from that cancelled Future Surface Combatant program is getting sunk. As they had been rusting away for over a year in a reserve port. Plus we did not by them, they where built by Irving shipbuilding NC in Halifax under the River Class Variant of the Type 26.

ParticipantWith no interest in the SINKEX from any other nation as of yet, some of the Type 26 hulls has been sold off to civilian firms who will scuttle the ships in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans to create deep sea artificial reefs for fish and other marine creatures as a way of getting rid of them. but some will be retained for SINKEX if any responses comes up.

ParticipantNew Canada Bio
New Canada is the largest Imagi-nation in North America located in the most northern part of the world and a member of the 4 nation alliance called the Pan Oceanic Pact. It has three oceans that makes up its coastline the Arctic, Pacific, and Atlantic, and its home to the Northwest Passage a vital economic shipping route for New Canada and their Pact Member nations. it shares a land border in the south west with Karmanaskis, though that border is sealed behind a massive concrete and steel wall nicknamed the Hemp curtain to prevent any illegal Cannabis smuggling operations. And to the south east with the United States.
Government.
The nation is run by a single Political Party called the Unified Government of New Canada which resides on Parliament hill in Ottawa, its a British style Parliament system but the difference is that its divided into a Upper House run by a Prime Minister, the Speaker of the House, and the 14 Premiers and their 5 delegates that represent all the 11 Provinces and 3 Territories in the country they hold power for 4 years till the next election, and the Lower House is made up of appointed ministers and their bureaucrats that represent the various departments that handle and dictate the daily functions of the country. these departments are

Ministry of Finance.
Ministry of Culture and tourism.

The New Canadian Broadcast Standards council.Culture and economy.
New Canada is a deeply conservative style of culture with strong traditionalist ideals, as such new ideas are often rejected or very slow to adopt, as they fear it will upset the balance of things with in the country, Tourism is big for the rich and the aristocratic classes from across NC and in the POP. it has a reputation to be a very cold place to live in the winter, with deep snow and -40 below weather, but that’s the fun of it. Its national game is hockey and Curling. The nation boosts a strong economy, Primarily focused on, Oil, Natural Gas, Agriculture, Mining, Forestry. and home to famous manufactures, like Avro NC, Canadair, De Haviland NC, Bombardier Aerospace, and Seaspan Ship building. The nation also offers a Free Health care system to its population provided by Health New Canada.Military
The New Canadian Armed Forces (NCAF) is the main military of New Canada that provides it with defence against any threat they encounter. Its divided into 4 branches. New Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force, Intelligence and Special Ops unit, With bases both at home, and overseas in Germany, Cyprus, and just recently Aleppo Syria after a huge victory against the Eurasian Empire during the 2022/2023 Global War.The NC army is small at only 4 Divisions in strength, and primarily made up of Mechanized infantry mounted on LAV-3s and LAV-6s, and some time M35 trucks, but does possess Armor in the form of the Leopard 2s and the much advanced KF-51 Panthers. Fire support comes from legacy Artillery systems. what’s unique about the NC army though its common to POP armies is that they have no NCO Corps, preferring instead to relay on Commissioned Officers to directly command their units down to the squad level. Though the Quality of the Commissioned Officers in charge can vary depending on how they acquired their Commission. Political Officers are common place in every formation to ensure loyalty and discipline, and to root out traitors and cowards in the enlisted ranks.
The RCN is the Third Largest on the planet, despite the legacy nature of their ships, they perform seasonal patrols every few months protecting the coastlines and keeping the Northwest passage safe for civilian ships to travel through. when the navy ships are not on patrol the rest of the time, the New Canadian Coast Guard takes over, though its a separate organization being operated by Transport New Canada. currently they have no means of conducting Humanitarian aid missions. however that will be carried out by the New Canadian Red Cross instead using a fleet of civilian vessels to for fill that role once a fleet is organized. Naval Officers in command treats their enlisted ranks below decks some enlisted are press ganged, like grease and oil necessary to keep their ships functional in a combat situation.
The Royal Canadian Air Force is vast. though like the navy mostly made up of legacy Aircraft, but in recent times they have slightly modernized with new aircraft from SAAB and Airbus. They also operate the aircraft in the RCN’s Fleet Air Arm from the deck of the Navy’s only active carrier HMCS Canada. Newly graduated and existing pilots go through rigorous flight training regularly in the flight simulators at the base for hours at a time, to help to hone their skills to become better pilots in order to combat their foes. the Air force is home to the famous Snowbirds stunt team. only the rich and the wealthy could afford the expenses needed to learn how to fly fighter jets.
The Intelligence Service and Special Ops branch has seen its capacity being reduced due to budget cuts, scandals, and inactivity over the years. but they can be called upon if they ever get deployed.

ParticipantThe RCN Will be hosting a SINKEX excercise, off the Coast of British Columbia this weekend. as a way to try out the Type 21s weapon systems, and to help the ships from allies and POP Member nations to get some much needed training in, the targets are the Incomplete Type 26 hulls from the failed NC Future Surface Combatant Program. The RCN Needs to get rid of those Broken down eyesore of a ship class, that has clogged up the Reserve fleet yard space for over a year. If your interested in taking part, please comment with a list of ships to bring.
