I have a few imagi-nation ships that I am working on. In the last year I have figured out how to paint! Not museum quality or anything, but much better than the garbage paint jobs I produced in the past. So ow I feel like I need to repaint man of my older ships, in addition to printing some new ones. Not much change to the current strength of the OD Navy….yet. I do want to create a third SHAM unit though, and then I want to do some reserve units which will be older ships and aircraft. The reserves are entirely for my own amusement.

As far as micro armor goes, I am still focused on several projects for my JTF-P collection, but those pieces will do double duty as ROD units.

The KDF shipbuilding program looks pretty awesome! The ROD is both impressed and frightened!

I’m glad NC feels this way. Now you won’t get in our way when we are responding to this health crisis.

The ROD is looking forward to seeing the KDF FART in action. Rumor has it that they arrive unannounced and no one wants to take credit for their work!

The ROD is redirecting 1st SHAM from South America (currently in Venezuela) to west Africa (specifically the Democratic Republic of Congo) to assist with the Ebola outbreak there. SHAM personnel will initially not be treating Ebola patients directly due to the lack of protective equipment. Rather they will establish a forward operating base where medical supplies can be staged and that can accommodate ROD supply aircraft. The affected area is in the north-east of the DRC and in Uganda, so access from the sea will be extremely difficult.

Once protective equipment and appropriately trained personnel are on site, ROD personnel have the option of treating patients, or providing other humanitarian support in the affected area.

They are still active, but not in Syria anymore. All Imperial SCUD units are back home in the EE.

If you are referring to the war against the EE, all Imperial weaponry has been withdrawn and placed into active or reserve units of the Imperial Army. The only forward deployed EE formations right now are the 1st and 9th CAAs in Libya.

Change of command this morning for COMCRUDESGRU 5 (Commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group 5)! The weather was beautiful, so the change of command ceremony was conducted at sea, off the coast of Saint Catherine. Rear Admiral Elizabeth Zepeda, the new commander, immediately turned her ships west and headed out into the Pacific for a multi-day exercise. Pictured here are the Ticonderoga class cruiser Retriever (CG-44), and the Arleigh Burke class destroyers Trebuchet (DDG-105), Battleaxe (DDG-115), and Broadsword (DDG-121).

You bought cutting edge warships at about $5 billion each, then converted them to transports, converted some to mail carriers and one to a McDonalds, and now you want to sink them.

    1st SHAM

The ROD is getting back on track with its routine patrols and deployments!

This morning 1st SHAM departed Naval Station Saint Catherine for a 5-month deployment to South America. SHAM stands for Security and Humanitarian Assistance Mission and it is deployed on a non-combat mission to provide medical, engineering, and security support to communities in need around the globe. Typical SHAM activities include, but are not limited to, vaccinations, preventive medical and dental care, construction of clinics and wells, law enforcement training, and delivery of food and medicine.

1st SHAM consists of the RODS Ares (Wasp class LHD) and the RODS Odysseus (Whidbey Island class LSD converted to a hospital ship). Embarked aboard the Ares are HCS-61 (12 x SH-60F), HMM-3 (12 x CH-46E), and ACU-91 (8 x LCM and 2 x LCU). In addition to the ship’s crews, the SHAM includes a security company (military police), an engineer company (construction), and a medical company.

The SHAM’s medical company is capable of establishing a small hospital ashore, but the Odysseus provides full medical capability, including laboratory, x-ray and MRI imaging, and 6 surgical suites.

The Eurasian Empire (also sometimes referred to as the Evil Empire) is a nation run by a-holes. It is a vast nation with a multitude of ethnic groups, time zones, and natural resources.

The Eurasian Empire (EE) is everyone’s adversary in the world of imagi-nations. For all intents and purposes, the EE is a modern-day incarnation of the Soviet Union. It is dominated by the Communist Central Committee and it is organized and equipped in much the same way as the Soviet Union was.

Geographically, the EE occupies much of Northern and Western Asia, and parts of Eastern Europe. National boundaries are intentionally vague so that it does not constrain players too much when it comes to creating their own imagi-nations or developing gaming scenarios. In fact, there are only a handful of cities that can be pinpointed on a map:

Moscow: Capital of the EE and HQ for the Central Military District
Voronezh: HQ for the Western Military District
Volgograd: HQ for the Southern Military District
Irkutsk: HQ for the Eastern military District
St. Petersburg: HQ for the Northern Military District
Skinkograd (Novorossiysk): Major military port in the Black Sea
Chorrovostok (Vladivostok): Major military port in the Pacific

For the EE military, quantity has a quality all its own. They have had a military presence in Libya for many years, and their advisors can be found around the world, meddling in affairs when they think it may be to their benefit.

I had the bio already done in a word doc, so it was an easy copy-paste. I’ll work on something for the EE.
